This particular project had a few uneven walls, especially here in the living room. These are the steps we took:

  1. Placing dropsheets everywhere to limit both sanding and overspray.

  2. Applying new drywall, drywall compound for repair, and letting it dry.

  3. Priming the dried larger drywall compound spots, like here in the centre of the photo.

  4. Finally, priming over all of the black colour to make the sure next coat has proper coverage.

Next to the living room was a staircase that required re-coating. These are the steps we took:

  • Scraping and sanding the loose existing paint.

  • Priming the surface for both adhesion and colour coverage purposes.

  • Applying two white finish coats to make sure the surface is as durable as possible and looks refreshed.​

This project also required complete room repainting. This photo features the final look - here's what was included:

  • Placing dropsheets on the floors and plastic on the furniture and beds to prevent overspray.

  • Preparing, patching, and sanding all surfaces before paint application.

  • Applying a primer coat to the previously dark brown walls for colour coverage, and then applying two coats of off-white eggshell paint for a classic modern look.

  • Sweep, vacuum, and pack up!
